F-1 Visa Information Welcome to CampGroup, LLC! CampGroup, LLC and its affiliated camps are interested in offering summer jobs to foreign athletes on F-1 visas who might enjoy a summer position working with kids. Our company annually employs more than 1000 college students at our facilities in the northeast and great lakes. Many of these are foreign student athletes on F-1 visas who ordinarily would have difficulty working outside the university. Our optional practical training program is available to most students from foreign countries who are here on an F-1 visa and who would like to experience working with children in an athletic setting. In previous years, students have participated in practical training in many different areas at our camps. Students majoring in any form of health studies, tourism, recreation, athletics, or youth work are obvious candidates for employment with us. Students have also used this as a chance to further their knowledge of the business aspect of camping, particularly marketing. Again, our wide range of programs creates many options for students. We are happy to assist a student in determining if there is an area available for them to use as practical training. CampGroup's camps are able to provide not only a paying position during the summer, but just as importantly for many foreign athletes, we cover the cost of travel and provide room and board.
